Tanat Valley Light Railway excitedly announce that their site at Nant Mawr near Oswestry will re-open to members of the public with a fantastic James Bond Tribute event on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July 10am - 6pm both days.
Official opening by our very own ‘James Bond’ of Radio Shropshire fame at 10.00 on Saturday 24th July.
Admission prices £5 per adult, £2 per child over 5 with a family ticket (2+2) for £12. Tickets can be purchased through SeeTickets online or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phone him on 01691 780042.
Entrance price includes one entry in the James Bond Trail, find all the clues, solve the puzzle and be in the draw for some fantastic Bond themed prizes.
Free entertainment includes renowned singer Helen Pearson with some of your favourite Bond theme tunes, Ricky Hunter the Welsh Trumpeter and International Vocalist Gary Grace.
Take your chance in the 007 fun casino, open 1pm-4pm both days, prizes for the highest roller of each day, fun money available to purchase on the day, all profit raised goes to help the Tanat Valley Light Railway fund their restoration projects.
Food from the films available to purchase, choose from the Bond Buffet featuring dishes from the films or the Bond Beefy Burger.
Ride in a replica monorail carriage built on one of the chassis reputed to have been used in at least 3 of the Bond films. Also see cars from the films (subject to availability and weather).
We do not charge an admission fee as our charitable aims are for the site access to be free, but there may be a charge for some events, train rides and special events. During the Heritage Open Days, a free train ride is included in admission.
